Way, Way, Way, Way back in April of last year.. Here
I wrote about my lust for a large mirror for my bedroom? I bought one on ebay ($30 bargain) and have finally replaced the mirror bit with our old bathroom mirror (which came down in our recent renos) and have given it a good clean, And..... It's up..
Ooooo I LOVES it!

I don't quite have a teen but I do have a pre-teen who is very specific in how she wants her room decorated. The purple she wanted 2 years ago is sooo *yesterday* and she is now hankering for some red!!!! Oh dear, perhaps I have created a decorating monster, I'm also not sure if I am ready for a red bedroom. Thankfully though, I just supervise and it's Husbandos who has to do the painting and wallpapering! hehe.
I find it fascinating how their tastes change as they get older, on one hand I am dealing with a pretty pink 3 year old who loves fairies, princesses and girlie stuff galore and on the other a 11 year old who is after a vibrant red with some black thrown in.
Watch this space... She may get some red walls soon.
In keeping with this theme, I thought I would share some fabulous images of some awresome teenager bedroom inspiration.
First up the girls.
Oh, I LOVE this room, so, so pretty.

City Wallpaper $149 per roll.

I love this one too, I wouldn't mind this wallpaper in my own bedroom.

Now for the boys. Boys are a little difficult as wallpaper often tends to be suited towards young children or is either feminine or very masuculine with lots of blacks or charcoals. So rather than show lots of wallpaper on the walls I thought I would show some other ways to use it :

If have a look at the shelves they are wallpapered in a contrasting colourway. It's a great idea if your son isn't keen on a whole wall.
These are both Harlequin's 'Barcode' Wallpaper (Extra Wide) $145 per roll.

I think I have shown this image before and I know it has a train set in it so isn't actually a teenage boys bedroom but WOW doesn't the wallpaper look awesome?

Lastly, by far the most popular - 'World Map Wallpaper Mural' $180

Are we inspired?

Giselle at Geogem just emailed me some images of her new office fit out using Graham and Brown 'Elizabeth' wallpaper in black and white. Looks lovely and a fitting choice I think.

Graham and Brown 'Elizabeth' Wallpaper $149 per roll.

Your hallway or entry is often the most overlooked 'room' in the house, considering it's the first glimpse visitors get of your home, surely it deserves to be dressed up a little?
Creating a feature on a single wall is ideal or even frame a square of wallpaper to produce an artwork like the picture below.

Whether it's subtle or wallpaper that makes an impact, giving your entry a bit of glam will create a great first impression.

I LOVE this.

Hope everyone had a great valentines day yesterday!
Ciao

I won't bore you to tears with a review of this movie because well.... it was pretty terrible but I do want to show you some awesome eye candy that featured in it! No, I'm not talking about Gerard Butler as delicious as he is, I want to show you the gorgeous wallpaper that was used heavily throughout. Did anyone else notice the walls? Being wallpaper obsessed, I sure did!
Jennifer's Characters Apartment
Harlequin Arrati-Trail Wallpaper $85 per roll

Harlequin Cappella Wallpaper $135 per roll

Cupids Hotel

This one below, looks very similar to Graham and Brown's 'Desire' Wallpaper

The Hotel
Graham and Brown's Boheme $149 per roll

So, although I don't recommend the movie for it's storyline I do say it's a must see for the wallpaper (and of course Gerard).
That's all for now folks.
